VSSL Director Joins State Committee

VSSL's Dr. Joshua Liao was recently selected to represent the University of Washington and sit on the state-wide Health Care Cost Transparency Board's Advisory Committee on Data issues.

Organized by the Washington State Health Care Authority, the Board's charge is to reduce the state's health care cost growth by (a) determining total health care expenditures; (b) identifying cost trends and drivers; (c) setting cost growth benchmark for providers and payers; and (d) reporting and providing recommendations about lowering costs to the Legislature.

Dr. Liao will provide expert advice to inform the board's work. Congrats!
